Another excellent windsurfing beach near the Paia Inn is Sprecklesville.

Sprecklesville is a favorite beach for many intermediate and advanced windsurfers that enjoy its white sand beach, easily accessible surf and uncrowded conditions.

Kanaha Beach Park

Arguably the best place in the world to learn to windsurf, Kanaha Beach Park is the destination of choice for most of Maui's windsurfers, as well as most of the windsurfing visitors.

This lovely beach park has all the amenities and features you could want in a world-class windsurfing beach: great wind, warm, clear water, excellent surf, an extensive wave-free area inside the reef, green lawns, paved parking, lots of shady trees, bathrooms. picnic tables, BBQ rings, bathrooms and showers.

Kanaha Beach Park is the place to go if you need instruction - all of Maui's world-renowned windsurfing schools offer their lessons there.

Kanaha Beach park is a ten minute drive from the Paia Inn.
