    Temple Makai Lawn is located adjacent to the Surf Club. The sprawling lawn, sits ocean front to Paia Bay. Our ceremony location offers privacy, and mature foliage.

    This location is appropriate for up to 85 guests.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, we would like all wedding + events on property to have a preferred wedding planner. This allows for smooth, and seamless transitions, and set/up breakdowns. We can provide you with a carefully executed list of wedding planners, or Paia Inn offers a seasoned planner that can arrange all your needs.

  • If it’s a day rental our properties are open for vendor set-up starting at 8:30 am. Due to Maui County Liquor Laws, our events will proceed as follows: Last call for alcohol at 9:30 pm, Music complete by 9:45 pm, guests off property by 10:00 pm.

  • Yes, we have an on-site wedding concierge that is available to arrange a menu of experiences. Whether it be a yoga class in the morning, surf lesson in the afternoon, and private chef dinner in the evening- we got you!

  • Yes! We are a boutique hotel, and have a total of 15 rooms on property [including our beach house]. The hotel sleeps a total of 40 guests.

  • At this time, yes. Since we are an operating restaurant we do require the use of our catering services. But don’t fear, we offer tastings, and menu curations PLUS, Vana was just voted the BEST NEW RESTAURANT ON MAUI!
